Oh Babies! Part I

 We gave my cousin Lauren
a baby shower on Saturday.
As most of you know,
she is pregnant with twins!
It's always amazing to see
everything you've been planning
come together and look fantastic!

This shower was originally going to
be at my parent's home in Tulsa.
We moved the shower to
Oklahoma City because Lauren
is on bed-rest for the remainder
of her pregnancy.  Please
continue to keep her in your prayers.
She will be going to a hospital in
Dallas to have the babies.

We decorated the shower with several items off Lauren's registry

We bought each baby their own
first bible and had their names
engraved.  Instead of using a
guestbook, we had guests
sign the front of each bible.

Londyn's Bible

Elijah's Bible

Each guest filled out one of these for Lauren

Backyard Makeover Part III - Grand Finale

Well, it appears that we are
mostly finished with our backyard...

Putting down the sand...

The sand is all level!

Ready for flagstone!

Our dog is ridiculous - ridiculously cute!

It's level!

Getting eaten by mosquitos...

What a mess!

It's starting to look like something, folks!

Strike a pose!

Making sure there is plenty of sand in between the stones...

IT'S ALMOST FINISHED!

Ta-da!

We are both SO pleased with the way it turned out!

Now we just have to get rid of the rest of the dirt and
get the grass to look pretty again.
Also, my new bushes are being attacked by Aphids -
so we're trying to kill those so my plants don't die.
My aunt Paula gave me the scoop on ridding our yard of the pests.
BEFORE.......

......AND AFTER!

Eric made this ski chair a few years ago out of some old skis.
And there is Oliver's outdoor water dish.
And of course, the grill!

I love our little Bistro Table - A wedding gift from Mr. Bob Wray

So, there will probably be one more Blog about
our backyard.  Once the yard is completely cleared
out and the bushes are without bugs.

But, we love it!
It turned out better than I imagined!
