We went on a hike today.
Mount Ogden.
It's the same hike we did a couple
weeks ago, but today we were going to
try to make it all the way to the top.
(I think it's 4 or 5 miles straight up)
Last time, my boots blistered my feet
so we ended the hike a little early.
Today, we taped my feet up
to avoid the blistering,
but it didn't work.
So we hiked as far as we could,
ate a nice picnic lunch
and came back down the mountain.
We had a bit of adventure on the way down...
scroll down to find out about it.

On today's adventure, we saw a moose.
When I first saw it, I thought it was a bear...
Either way, it was rather frightening
(considering how aggressive they can be).

MOOSE.... |
Let me leave you with this wonderful image...
A fresh leg - right on the trail... yum. |
It will haunt my dreams... it wasn't on the trail
on our way up the mountain...
it was there on our way down...
so it was new and fresh.
SOOO gross.
And kinda scary.
Okay - I couldn't let that nasty leg thing be
the last image in your head from my blog,
so here is our little boy, all tuckered
out after a nice long hike and a bath.
