Visitors in Salt Lake City Part Two

 My mom and grandma's visit, continued:

The rest of their visit,

we did a few things around the house.

We all love decorating

and making small improvements

here and there.

We decided to raise the curtains in the master bedroom.
It made the ceilings look taller which made the room look bigger.

I love our bedroom!  It is beautiful! 

I also got new towels for our bathroom!

We have been wanting blinds in our garage for a while.

We didn't realize how difficult it would be...

Oliver came out to help us

We ended up needing a little assistance.
We couldn't get the screws all the way into the wall.
A friend of ours came over to save the day.

Beautiful!

Proud moment: I was able to drive Eric's car (which is a standard).  I had to move it to get to the windows.
It has been many many many years since I've driven one of these, so I was excited that I remembered how.

And my new chicken looks great on it!

We also ironed the curtains in the kitchen.
Don't they look amazing!

The trim on the black frames used to be gold
But my bathroom is silver and black,
so we rubbed silver onto the frames.
Now they match!

In our study/music room, new wall art.

In the study/music room, I changed the
curtains and we ironed these as well.

I hung up pictures on the wall in the guest room.
We ironed the curtains in this room also

I put up a shade and a valance in the guest room

I also organized the closet in the study/music room

And I organized in the guest room closet as well

We got a great deal accomplished!

And we had fun doing it!

Visitors in Salt Lake City Part One

My mom and grandmother came to visit

me this week while Eric

was on a ski trip.

We had such a great time!

We took the train from Ogden

to Salt Lake City.
