I can't believe April is almost here.

This year is flying by.

We have had a lot of fun this month though!

Here are some pictures of some March happenings.

My cousin Lauren is pregnant with twins!

(Twins run in our family, which is fun!)

I am so very excited about this!

She and her husband have been wanting kids

for a while now.  This is an answer to prayers!

A double answer.  Haha.

She's due at the end of October.

One of our good friends (that Eric works with)

turned 29, so we hosted his birthday party.

We made mini pizzas and ate birthday cake.

Then we played Cranium, which was a blast.

I was so excited when I found out the 

Oklahoma City Thunder

were coming to Utah to play the Utah Jazz.

Eric got us tickets and we made a fun evening of it!

We ate at one of my favorite places before the game.

It's in downtown Salt Lake City, so I don't

get to visit as much as I'd like,

 but Benihana is amazing.

I love Japanese Steakhouses.  

They are my favorite.

(Even though, as Eric reminds me,

they do the same tricks each time...

There's nothing like an evening

Now that the weather is getting nice,

we get to do more things outside.

Spring has sprung! I got to plant some flowers!

Eric trimmed the bushes and I put down some mulch - it looks so much better!

I don't have any pictures of us

actually climbing,

but Eric and I have been climbing at the 

gym on base.  We got certified after taking

a training course.  Climbing has been a bit

of a stretch for me, because the wall goes up 

pretty high.  I almost made it to the top last week.

I'm sure I'll make it to the top at some point.

I start a photography class Saturday. The base

arts and crafts department is offering it.  

It's a four week class.

We will meet on Saturdays for 2 hours 

and the final class is a field trip

to Park City to try out our new skills.

I'm pretty excited to learn more about

my fancy camera.  It can do

so much more than I am currently

capable of making it do.

Our sweet little Oliver is doing well.  He's so smart.

He got a new "House".  My mom sent this to us, since she
doesn't use it for her dogs anymore.
It matches our living room decor.

Eric and I are finally getting plugged in

at church!  We went to our first worship team

practice last Tuesday and had so much fun!

We are excited to use the gifts God has given us.

I'm starting voice lessons up again,

which is so very exciting!

It took me a while to find a 

voice teacher in our part of town.

My first lesson is next week.

I love taking voice lessons

because it stretches me and challenges me.

I get to sing broadway style music

and opera.  It's so much fun!

March has been a great month!  

I'm loving this Spring weather

and looking forward to the coming months!
