Lake Powell Day 1

Lake Powell is a beautiful place...
With nearly 2,000 miles of shoreline and
some of the most spectacular scenery in the west,
Lake Powell is the ultimate playground.

My parents-in-law will be celebrating 30 years of
marriage on July 3rd.
To celebrate, they rented a houseboat and
invited us to come along.
As you're about to see (in all my pictures),
we had such a fantastic time!

Our houseboat on Lake Powell

Our houseboat was called The Adventurer.
The Adventurer is a 54' boat that sleeps up
to 12 people.  It has 4 staterooms and 2 bathrooms,
a fully equipped kitchen with 2 refrigerators, a stove,
oven and microwave - not to mention
an awesome outdoor grill (which we used every night).

Our boat had a water-slide.  Eric and Kyle were like little kids - they loved it.

It was a nasty little fish...

A beautiful night with a half moon and a sky full of stars

I took over 400 pictures on this trip,
so there will be a few blogs on Lake Powell.

To be continued...
