Independence

We had a fabulous
Independence holiday.

On July 3rd, we drove north
to Logan Utah for Freedom Fire!

Freedom Fire was at Romney Stadium
at Utah State University in Logan Utah.
Logan is a fun little college town.

Kansas performed -
but first, some very talented
locals entertained us...

"An estimated 15,000 people filed into Romney Stadium Tuesday
evening to watch local bands, the biggest firework show in
Cache Valley, and legendary rock band Kansas.
Despite another day with stifling hot temperatures,
some people arrived more than three hours before the
gates opened in anticipation of getting the best
general admission seats – those in the southwest corner
that get shade the quickest." Cache Valley Daily

Outside of the stadium, there were blankets and chairs everywhere!

Waiting in line to get into the stadium - It was hot.

The stage set-up!
